About the world icebocce association

Come join us Friday night at 9:15 pm and learn the game of Icebocce.

We play the game of IceBocce on Friday night at the Idaho Falls ice arena in Tautphaus Park.  This is a great opportunity to bond with your family and friends and learn the game.

Offering one of the most entertaining experiences on ice.

Back in 2007, TES Enterprises, LLC. started working with ice arenas to come up with a new way to use their "down ice" open ice segments during the day time and in the summer at year round ice facilities.  The game of Icebocce and the WIA were born.  The idea came about because ice rinks are looking for additional revenue sources that can utilize open ice times throughout the day.  We propose that they turn their rinks into Icebocce courts and invite the public to come play during the day.  We would like to see the senior community come in and play.  They can market it as a youth school activity for schools.  They can have date night for the high school and university students to give them other options and activity choices.  They could have it as a summer league program.  They can have corporate luncheons for team building.  There are numerous ideas that rink managers can do with Icebocce to schedule unused ice.  By empowering this additional user group, they will fill down ice time and bring additional revenue to offset management and operation costs of running their ice arenas.

So let's play the game of Icebocce.  First, find unused ice and then work with the rink management to create your event or league.  Contact the WIA and let's start playing the game and help the game grow!
